
Wreaths will be laid at the four war memorials in the cemetery - the two Crosses of Sacrifice, the Civilian War memorial and the RAF Memorial - in memory of the servicemen and women and the civilians who are buried there. Members of the public are also invited to join the Deputy Mayor Councillor Godfrey Bland at 12:15pm on Sunday 14 November for the Civic Event at Tunbridge Wells Cemetery.

For the March Past the civic party will return to the steps of the Town Hall from where the Mayor will take the salute. Bookings for tickets to visit the Memorial galleries from the reopening onwards will be available on the Memorial’s website in early November.The Mayor will be joining representatives of the Royal British Legion at the War Memorial in Royal Tunbridge Wells on Thursday 11 November at 11am to commemorate the Armistice. Memorial Director Matt Anderson said that if people are not able to secure a free ticket when bookings for the ceremony open on Friday 29 October, they are strongly encouraged to commemorate at home by watching the broadcast and to take the time to reflect on this important day. The broadcast will also be live-streamed on the Memorial’s Facebook page, and will be available for viewing on ABC iView. The Remembrance Day National Ceremony will be broadcast live on the ABC television and radio.
